In the Last post of this blog, I describe how I use Facebook. And I need to tell you that this technique can do some changes. Positive ones in case of Assertivity. For example, one of the pages that I like to @tag is from PJ(Justice Police) which are the highest Police organism in Portugal. They know who I am, but since I don't say stupid things, they let me do my own things.
One approach that did change, from all other Police groups, is about Sharing Children Pictures with their location publicly on Facebook, which I considere a Error and even worst, since they pass last years going into Schools to talk about Internet Privacy, for me was like a "Joke" (look to this guys: they promote privacy and then they share publicly pictures of children and their locations)...
So what I start to do was something like, I comment the publication with those pictures saying something like this: @PoliceABC -> @PJ -> Criminal Activity: Sharing public and Sensitive Data from those who talk about privacy... (should we arrest them? I agree). You know, if they use their brain, they realize they are doing something wrong and by Logic that will change. Cool! I am glad that "not all Police are Stupid".
The results were slow but they happen. These days Police Facebook Pages blur Children Faces and remove location data from their posts. You see, when you make a Public Report, they cannot hide from anyone. And if You are aware of (in this case) Police force regulations and Associations, you can @tag them all there in that post, and repeat in all other posts...
